NC Aquarium chose Stevens Interactive for 3D, touch screen exhibit
June 22, Fuquay Varina, NC - Stevens Interactive of Fuquay-Varina was selected by the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island to provide touch screen, 3D interactive content for 2 kiosks in the new “Aquarium Confidential, A Look Behind the Scenes” exhibit opening in July 2006. The touch screen kiosks provide the visitor an interactive 3D experience in designing their own aquarium exhibit complete with animated fish, invertebrates, reptiles and mammals. The kiosks take the aquarium from a “Come see” to a “Come see and do” experience. When your simulated exhibit is completed the kiosk will direct you to view an actual exhibit within the aquarium that is similar to the one you have designed.

Gabe Stevens, CEO of Stevens Interactive explained, “We are pleased and honored to have been chosen by the North Carolina Aquarium to design these kiosks. The 3D interactive kiosks will enable children of all ages to become their own touch screen aquarium designer.  The kiosks, we designed, are there to engage the visitor while providing the interactive “wow” effect.
